Vibrant Summer Wedding at Mount Pisgah Arboretum

Claire and Nate planned the most beautiful wedding day at Mount Pisgah Arboretum, inspired by their shared passions for the outdoors, local agriculture, art, and community. It was such a pleasure to coordinate this lively, welcoming event at one of my favorite venues in Eugene, Oregon!

There were so many unique, handcrafted touches at this wedding. For example, Claire’s custom gown was designed and sewn by her talented friend Liat (who normally creates inclusive lingerie), and Claire’s ring was custom-forged using metal from Nate’s family heirloom ring by Fripp Designs, a local jewelry maker.

It was a sweltering July day, with temperatures reaching 102 degrees. I brought two upright misting fans and plenty of electrolyte packets to try and keep everyone comfortable. Thankfully, the giant oak tree offered dappled shade during the ceremony, and the patio was shaded for dancing after dinner. Cold drinks like infused lemonade and signature cocktails by Branch Road Farms helped to cool us down, and bright parasols offered shade as well as pops of color.

Despite the heat, we were in high spirits. The hot breeze tickled the lovely ribbon streamers that Claire and her friends had made by hand. The fresh, locally grown florals from Formosa Flower Farm held up beautifully as well!

The photo booth was provided by Amuse Booth, which claims to be “Oregon’s Cutest Hand Built Photo Booth” and I’d have to agree! Wedding guests were so delighted by the costume options and fun props.

I will always remember this stunning, heartfelt, handmade day! Thank you to Claire & Nate for inviting me to be a part of the fun. It was such a joy to be your wedding coordinator.
